Honor 20 Review : Perfection Beyond Imagination

The Honor 20 series was launched in India last month. Company launched Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20i smartphones in this smartphone series.

Honor 20 is the base variant of this series. Honor 20 Pro has been launched as a high-range smartphone of this series, while the Honor 20i is the lightest variant of this series, in which ‘i’ means India.

Honor 20 can challenge the flagship range of smartphones with many 48 megapixel rear cameras. The USP of this smartphone is its rear camera setup and premium design.

Honor 20 is loaded with Quad camera set-up. The phone has 48 megapixel Sony IMX 586 sensor with aperture f / 1.8 which can click 12-megapixel photo with 4-in-one light fusion.

The phone also packs a 16 MP super wide angle secondary camera with an aperture f / 2.2 which can click on the 117-degree field of vision picture.

Phone’s third camera is a 2 megapixel depth assessor sensor. This camera has an aperture f / 2.2 which can take a picture of 1.75 microns.

There is another 2 megapixel micro camera which is set with LED light and f / 2.2 aperture which can take a picture of 1.75 microns.

You can take a better picture even in low-light with phone’s camera. The most special thing is that you get to see such a clear picture in a very small flagship device. This kind of quality is available to you in the OnePlus 7 series, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series or the Google Pixel 3a series. So you can call it a perfect camera smartphone.

Phone’s camera won’t disappoint you whether you click the picture in Daylight or in the low light you do not see the pixels split in the picture taken from the camera.

Its rear camera can zoom up to 10x. The camera is horizontally aligned in the rear panel. Its three cameras are fitted under one under one. At the bottom of Honor 20, you get to see the LED flash and next to the camera right above you get a fourth micro camera. In this way all four cameras are intimately aligned.

Honor 20 Design and Feel:

The design of this smartphone will steal your heart. A pin-hole display is provided in its front panel with a 32 megapixel selfie camera sitting there.

When you watch the video with full screen, this pin-hole comes downwards which gives you a full view screen viewing experience. You can watch videos using any online video streaming platform, and its punch-hole or pin-hole does not bother you.

As per as the side panels are concerned, you get the fingerprint sensor with volume rockers on the right side. Its fingerprint sensor is placed alongside the power button. At the bottom of the phone you get speakers in both sides and in between you get a USB Type-C charging jack.

It does not have a 3.5mm audio jack, but within box you get a 3.5mm jack connector. On the left, a microSD card and dual SIM card slot is available. In the back panel of the phone, you also get a worn glass body that comes with a metallic chassis.

Honor 20 Specifications and Features:

The Honor 20 features a 6.26 inch full HD Plus punch-hole display and is powered by Kirin 980 chipset processor. The phone comes packed with 6GB + 128GB storage variant. In the phone, fingerprint sensor has been provided along with the power button on the side of the phone.

Honor 20 is launched in two color options Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. To give power to the phone, it has a 3,750 mAh battery with fast charging support of 22.5W.

The phone offers a USB Type-C charging jack and runs on the Magic UI 2.0 operating system based on Android 9.0. Honor 20 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 32,999.
