Huawei P30 Pro Review – First Impression
Display and Design:
Our Huawei P30 Pro Review starts with phone’s display. This smartphone has a 6.47-inch OLED FullHD + display. It is a full display display that comes with a curved design. It also has a waterdrop notch and the special thing is that no physical speaker was given in it to talk on the phone. Its display only works as a speaker.
The colors of the display are quite bright and there is no problem even in direct sunlight. In the back of the phone you get gradient color design, which is now becoming common.
On the right side of the phone, you have been given power buttons and volume buttons. The left side of the phone is empty and in the lower panel you get a SIM slot, Type C charging port and speaker.
The in-display fingerprint scanner works quite fast, but its position sometimes bothers you. If you want, you can also use its Face Unlock feature, which is quite fast.
Storage and Performance:
The phone has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The octa-core Kirin 980 processor has been used in this flagship device. Huawei P30 Pro works on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie.
This phone works quite well even in everyday use. In it, you can run any number of apps and play any heavy game, you will not get complaints just you will enjoy it.
The camera is the USP of this phone. The Huawei P30 Pro has a quad rear camera setup, a 40-megapixel primary camera, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel periscope camera with a superzoom lens.
Apart from this, there is a Time of Flight (ToF) camera which improves the picture through infrared light.
High level details are seen in the pictures taken with this phone. Dynamic range of pictures, colors, contrast are excellent. Photos taken from it in night mode also impress you. Video recording can be done with the Bokeh Effect from the phone, which I personally found quite a great feature.
The USP of the phone is 50X zoom. This phone allows you to zoom up to 50 times, not 1, 2, 5 or 10. From 10 to 15X zoom, your object is clearly visible, although zooming up to 50 times, you have to compromise a lot in quality. But getting zoomed so far is a big thing in itself.
It has a 32 megapixel front camera for selfies. Selfie photos and videos taken from this also leave no stone unturned to impress you.
The Huawei P30 Pro has a strong 4200 mAh battery, which supports both wired and wireless charging. Its backup is also very good, which lasts for 1.5 days on normal usage. You can full charge the smartphone in less than an hour. 30 to 40% is charged in 15 minutes. Huawei P30 Pro comes with IP68 rating, i.e. it is also water and dust proof.
This smartphone is available in India at a price of Rs 71,990. If you are very interested in mobile photography and making videos from mobile, then this phone is specially for you. Powerful battery, excellent display and premium look make this phone special in addition to the awesome camera.
