Photos taken with the Redmi 8A in sufficient light were good. When zoomed, sample shots reduced the detail. During the close-up shot, camera creates a good natural depth of field. Redmi 8A Review

Portrait shots taken from the Redmi 8A had average edge detection but some of our samples had slightly over-exposed backgrounds. There was a lack of detail in low light, Redmi 8A manages noise in low light but there is a lack of sharpness in the pictures. In low light, the photo quality is not very good because when zooming, grains are seen. The primary camera is capable of recording video at 1080 resolution but there is no stabilization in the handset.
